My salesman, Mike Taylor, and the staff the Hunt Valley Mercedes were AMAZING!!! Mike was very responsive to all my questions and had everything ready when I arrived to pick up my new GLX450. It was a quick 15 minutes of signing paperwork then he showed me around all the cars features pointing out little things that would be helpful for my 2.5 hour drive back home. He was also so sweet and gave me some extra connection cords and sent me a license plate cover that I requested not to mention that he also gave me MB valve stem covers and a super cute cover for my car remote to prevent it from getting damaged!! And if all that wasn't enough, Mike also gave one to my friend who rode with me to get my new car since she also owns a MB! She didn't even buy her car there but I bet she'll call Mike when it's time to upgrade!! Here's a sincere thanks to Mike and the gang at Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley. I would give the service department a 10 out of 10, not only was the service done in a timely manner, but my car was washed before it was returned to me. The Service center is a good place to get your car repaired. Definitely Mercedes class customer service. My consultant, Jessica, thoroughly explained all the issues my car was having and was conscious of my budget when we started planning. She kept me in the loop on all the progress while my car was in the shop. The repairs didn't take too long and I got my car back in a good amount of time. When I went to pick it up, everyone there was friendly and helpful. Worth the price!

Not a great experience. I was not notified when my car was ready for pick up. So the car stayed overnight and I had to take an Uber to work the next morning. When I came to pick up my car the next day there was difficulty in producing a bill for me so I had to wait longer at the dealership.

I didn’t buy the car I went there to look at only because I wasn’t getting what I wanted for my trade in and didn’t want to roll that much money over. My only complaint is that I didn’t get to test drive the car I was looking at. If I got behind the wheel of that car I very likely would have changed my mind about rolling money over and bought the car regardless. I would go back for future car purchases!!

There were several glitches to this experience. Nothing life changing but just annoying. I requested a loaner which I was told was fine when I booked the appointment for service weeks prior and when I get there Im told that I'm not eligible for a loaner because I was only getting a Service A. I scheduled meetings throughout the day thinking I would have a car and I did eventually get one but not without jumping through hoops. Miscommunication like that shouldn't happen when you purchase a $125,000 vehicle, in my opinion. Once I got the loaner, it was the cheapest Benz they make. Other dealerships I have dealt within the past give you at least your vehicle if not better for a loaner. I realize these are 1st world problems but still. They wanted a review. I?m giving one. Then Im told the service would take 1-2 hours and i would be notified as soon as the car was completed. Well, 7 hours later I call them and they say, ?Oh your car has been sitting here waiting. We wanted to call but were too busy?. Im sorry but that is just not premium customer service, in my opinion. All in all not a big deal but I expect a level of service when I deal with a high end company and that simply was not what I received.

I have a preowned cpo Gls450, which needed service. I bought the car one year ago from another dealership. When I brought the car to hunt valley, Sam Wu looked over my vehicle and noticed something majorly wrong with the assyst on my car. He was incredibly insightful, intelligent and guided me on what to do next in the process. He wanted the best outcome for me, a busy working mother, who drives 30,000 miles in a year. When I was guided to go to another Mercedes (the original one where I purchased the car), the manager there did not believe anything was wrong with my car, doubted me, made me feel very insignificant, and as if I could be lying…. Well, fast forward to this dealership finding out that something is MAJORLY wrong with my assyst system, they apologized and they are fixing it. If it wasn’t for SAM WU, his persistence to take care of this, his honesty, this would not have been taken care of, and I would probably be broken down on the side of an interstate. I will ONLY take my car to Hunt Valley from now on! They have gained my business and everyone I know!!! I will never forget this awful yet incredible (thank you Sam!) experience. Best, Leslee

This is easily the worst automobile dealership on the entire planet Earth. I contacted them to make an appointment for a test drive of a car advertised on Cars.com. They responded that the car was out on a test drive, but if it did not sell they would contact me. The car did not sell, they contacted me, so far so good. It was near closing time on a Friday, so I made an appointment for the test drive for the earliest possible slot (9:30am) for Saturday. So far still good. We left our house for the 1 hour drive to the dealership at 8:30am on Saturday. At 9:02am, we get a call that the car sold that morning. The dealership opens at 9:00am, and somehow I am to believe the car sold 2 minutes after opening. OK keep reading this is not the end of the debacle. We turn around, disappointed but nothing we can do about it, and headed home. At 10-ish in the morning they call me back, and tell me the deal fell through and that the car is available if I want it. I ask “ok but I do not want to go through this again, can I give you a deposit with my credit card to hold the car for the next 2 hours?” Salesman Eman Monroe tells me “no sir, we will reserve the car for you for 24 hours, no deposit required.” I agree to go back and we make the 1 hour drive to the dealership. We arrive to be met by the showroom manager to be told the car is sold. No apology, no consideration, nothing but an attitude that was condescending and unprofessional. I wasted hours of time and half a tank of $4/gallon gasoline on these inept, self-centered, unprofessional, and incompetent people only interested in themselves. Worst experience with a car dealer in my 64 years of being upright. I recommend you never even consider doing business with these tools.

I researched multiple Mercedes Benz dealerships in the DMV area and Hunt Valley was the only one that not only had the car I wanted, but also didn’t charge the usual mark up over MSRP that the other dealerships did. Buying the car was a very pleasant and easy experience here. Mike was very helpful after I bought the car as well. I was looking for a very specific CPO AMG and Mercedes of Hunt Valley had the car. It was an easy process to set up a test drive. The car was beautifully detailed and ready to go. Being a new MB driver, I needed some explanation of the seemingly complicated controls. Samuel took quite some time going over all the functions and answering all of my questions, it was actually a very enjoyable process. The test drive was fantastic, as you can imagine. It was the perfect car all around. Setting up my trade in Audi and purchase options was a breeze. Rene was a wonderful help in getting me the best overall options as far as money down and length of loan. It was a long process as any car buying process is, but I was treated with respect by everyone, not just the people dealing with me, other associates as well. I am extremely happy with my time spent and purchase and will actually make the trip to get my next one from them, however I imagine it will be many years and many miles from now.

The service department just blatantly lies about when your car will be done. They’ve gone from saying it will be done the day after they start (Friday), to its 75% done and will be done on Monday before 12, to Monday at 4. They seem to have no issue wasting your time, just go to another euro shop.

I lost my 08 honda civic in jan. due to a total loss and was stuck borrowing my friends car until I saved up for a new vechile. Which during this time proved to be very difficult with how expensive the market on used cars are. I had seen a 2020 corolla that peaked my interest and sent a email over about it. Mike Taylor reached out right away very professionally to get me booked in to view it and do a test drive. At the time I had set up another test drive for a similar vechile down the street at a different dealership. The difference between the service Mike offered vs. The other place was very obvious he was very knowledgeable and polite and NOT once did he make me feel pressured to buy anything I didn't like. Unfortunately the first drive over I didn't find anything I liked but he went and kept a eye out for me keeping my interests and what's important to me in mind. Mike emailed me about a fantastic car that came in the very next day at the subaru lot next door that fit the entire bill for me. I made the 50 minute drive in the snow we tested it and I fell in love and purchased it that day. Sadly I couldn't take it home until Monday so I once again prepared myself to have to make that drive but Mike went & offered to drop the vechile off at my house which saved me alot of stress in the long run. I truly feel like this experience was a 10/10 and my 2021 subaru impreza is awesome!

My situation was difficult, but that is when you see the added value of the brand and the experience of the staff to carry out the work, I will divide my comments into positive ones and areas of opportunity: Positives 1.- Sam, he is a very honest person and his points of view regarding the situation of my vehicle and were very helpful to making the decision that I will make in the short term. 2.- The vehicle was delivered to me as it should be, clean and working. Opportunity areas: 1.-The lack of communication between Mercedes and the extended coverage insurance is cause for concern. My car took almost 1 month, more than two weeks were lost just to report the quote and I had to go personally to coordinate a phone call so that both parties could talk and avoid misunderstandings between the insurance and Mercedes, then I spoke punctually every 2 days with my insurance and Mercedes to follow up and make things happen. It should be noted that they were always very kind but they really must take difficult cases like mine more seriously and maintain constant communication with the client. 2.- Regarding the repair of the vehicle, I would have liked to have an analysis of the complete situation of my car and take together the best possible option of the catastrophe situation of my car, since I knew that the insurance did not cover all the repair at the end of the process. 3.- Once again, the communication between the person in charge and the client was very poor, which gave me the feeling that my case was more of a headache. My comments are to give added value and without prejudice to the value of the staff that handled my case, they are only areas of opportunity. Best regards Iván

When I had my 2016 GLE 350 4matic in for collision preventive assist plus it needed software update at $189.00 charge but I was quote $994.15 had engine misfire on ignition A coil to replace six spark plugs replace intake manifold needed to be taken off and gasket replace in order to do the job properly my service was Stephen Worthinhto when I was to pick it up the bill was $1410.97 this TURD service writer charge me $$42.63 per plug when the cost at the Mercedes part counter is only $26.00 he also stuck a after market coil pack on and charge me $138.33 when they brought it local auto part store for Around $50.00 or less only then I took it upon calling the service manger Mr Eric and raise the issue why Skylar which the service writer is call by would stick it in my xxx like that anyway got a little refund of $178.15 back but I really don't think the mechanic ever replace intake gasket to do the job total hrs was told 5hrs but for some reason I got plugs replace three recall fix software update two wheel remove test drove then came back did a obd sane and replace coil also went all around the Suv and inspect which I did not ask for but Skylar took it upon his self to do so just to much work done when I was told plugs and ignition coil would 5hrs alone put the car in at 10am out at 4.43 pm I will never service car ever here again thankful service manger was kind enough to refund me some money but I had to raise a xxxx about the scam xxx service writer Skylar if any thing when going their ask for Ben I think he would be more honest also this Skylar talk very rude and think the average people off the street are stupid and don't know not a good person to deal with I want thank Mr Eric service manger he was real good to deal with if you have a issue this guy will be their for you.

On 2/23/21 When I drove into the garage for my 11:00am appt. I could see that there was four guys in the building sitting at their desk ,NO one came out to greet me and I mean no one ! I was only greeted once I entered the building. Less then 10 mins inside a female( Caucasian ) woman drives up she couldn't even get out of her car good enough and there was someone standing there greeting her. I'm sure the look on my face was priceless!! Yes, I'm a black female and this made me feel a certain way. I never said anything to Sam as we sat in his office to go over my car service needs ,BUT KNOW Had it not been for Sam Wu and his professional hospitality and his KINDNESS I would be taking my vehicle to another Benz dealership! I recently visited this dealership and worked with Mr. Eman M. Before I even arrived, I had a very pleasant email exchange with him regarding a used vehicle in which I was interested. Upon arrival, I was struck by the grandeur of the showroom and nice modern feel of the sales specialists' area. Eman had the car waiting and was very knowledgeable about it, even though it was not a Mercedes. I was pleasantly surprised by this, as often, I feel like I enter a dealer more knowledgeable than the sales people, but not in this case. In short, the car was marvelous, but not quite the model for me. Regardless, we discussed options in case I changed my mind, and Eman was great about listing potential financing opportunities should I want to go that route. I also chatted with the general manager, who was equally courteous and interesting. It's kind of funny that I did not end up getting the car, but left with an uplifted spirit due to the attention to detail and responsiveness of Eman and his team.

Ridgely was awesome. On the backend Robert W. was awesome. Those two made the buying experience one to remember and will have us come back again. Being that we didnt have any experience with Mercedes vehicles prior I do wish they had a dedicated product specialist to help us understand certain features and functions a little bit better. This was during a time of employee shortages everywhere so we do understand and its not a deal breaker at all. We just wanted to share our total experience. Commendations: Eman was an amazing person with whom to work! He was always pleasant, friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the cars he was selling. There was no pressure to buy which was a welcome change to the typical car-buying process. In particular, his suggestions about finance options were most helpful. Rachael, whom I believe was the sales manager, was equally friendly and helpful. All of the employees that we encountered while waiting for our car, even the ones with whom we were not dealing directly, were friendly and welcoming. In total, the atmosphere of the dealership was top notch - unlike any other dealership with whom we have worked. Keep up the great job! Suggestion: The finance director was pleasant. However, the presentation of the extended warranty options during the financing process could be improved. Details were ambigious, at best, and answers to questions about the warranties were not always clear. Perhaps this was intentional although I certainly hope not. If so, it detracted from the entire buying process.

Hope I can give zero star.If you have to come this store stay away with EMAN! A salesman With very bad attitude!! Very disappointed with Mercedes Benz. We get a gle350 on last Saturday. After we drive home the maintenance light is on. Says service is due. My husband email EMAN on Monday about this problem. There is no response. So we Wait until Thursday, but still no response. My husband called him, he said he don’t know the answer, we need to call service center to make appointments to find out. I think my husband did not get the full information from EMAN. So I called him again. His attitude is terrible! He literally said: I AM NOT GOING TO REPEAT MYSELF AGAIN, I JUST SAID TO YOUR HUSBAND! After we purchase the car here is his attitude! Watch out every one!

I have nothing but great feedback when it comes to all of my service appointments with MB. My last appointment, wasn't great due to the weirdest situation I'd ever experienced there, it honestly wasn't anyone's fault, just a situation that couldn't be explained or figured out, but my guy Skylar jumped right in and worked things out,and made an uneasy situation easy to handle. He made sure I was 200% satisfied, and made sure that everything worked out in my favor. He totally went above and beyond for me. My satisfaction was definitely guaranteed. Absolutely terrible experience. They have taken over 90-days to get title transferred allowing my temp tags to expire on my business vehicle, essentially putting that vehicle on the sidelines and unable to be used and costing me a lot of money. I do not know when it will be resolved as they will give me no direct specifics about timing. NOTE: It is violation of state law to have taken as long as they have. All of this is factual which I am happy to document for anyone that wants to verify. Then, when I express how poorly this is handled and the consequences to me, the sales person called me passive aggressive. So, this is the attitude received when they screwed up the sale and delivery of tags --- the customer gets blamed because they are not more happy about the situation. Expressing displeasure is NOT passive aggressive. My communication was very direct - just not positive, which it should not be given what they did. This sales person you should never work with is Ridgely McKinless. Not only for this reason, but also for his dishonesty in a sales transaction. He hid things about the vehicle until after documents were signed, and he lied about there being a "state minimum" for doc fees. When it's the opposite, there is a state maximum, which I discovered later. On top of this, why is the sales manager and the person who screwed up the title processing not involved in resolving this? The sales rep is not even being given all of the information to deal with the situation, and just resorts to providing air cover, then blaming and insulting the customer. The management obviously lack the professionalism to deal with their own failures, which includes not calling back a customer days before the tags expired to provide any updated after leaving a message. The finance manager was also dishonest. I had to catch him in lies when actually reading the documents. What a mess of an organization. And, this is not my typical experience. I get great service and professionalism from my hometown Mercedes dealer from past purchases. This Mercedes dealer is just bad.

It was a tough deal going on but I had done my research. I was referred to Jim Abreit a manager in another unit (I apologise if I did not spell his name correctly) He stayed with the deal until was done. My salesman Aaron Prater did a great job given the circumstances and internal pressure. John Davenport the finance manager sealed the deal and was a pleasure to deal with. I just should not have taken as long as it did to get me out once I decided on the vehicle. By the way Jim found the vehicle that was right for me. I was not the one I thought was right for me but I could not ignore the value.

This review is in regards to my service advisor, Sam Wu. Having experienced the subpar service at the Atlanta Buckhead location before I moved to Pennsylvania, I was really impressed with the professionalism, timeliness of response, and above and beyond action that Sam provided me. This is not the closest Mercedes Benz location to me. Although I don't live in Maryland, the drive down from Pennsylvania is worth it. I had an issue with my car. Sam took care of it. No extra fluff and no BS. I will be requesting him specifically whenever I need service on my vehicle.

After an initial rough experience for maintenance service with MB of Hunt Valley the staff resolved everything professionally and quickly. The quality of the service department is declining. Within the last 12 months (under 7k miles) the service department allegedly performed the Schedule A & B Services, Express Services, Battery Replacement etc . I dropped my vehicle off without leaks. Picked it up with a leak. I received a loaner vehicle that was dirty. The interior was covered in dog hair, hand, and footprints. The exterior was also dirty. According to Skylar the car wash team could not remove the cicadas. To my knowledge, it’s been more than a month since the last cicada sighting. It was also the expectation that Mercedes maintained adequate sanitation of all vehicles specially since the increased numbers of COVID-19 and the Delta variants. Truly disappointing.

Typical upsell attempt from the "Service Advisor" Schuyler. When he called to tell me my car would be done soon he mentioned the "service technician" said my tires were wearing fine but said I should have the tires rotated and an alignment done. I informed him I just had that done at my last service and he replied it was recommended because of the miles I've driven since my last service. I questioned his assessment then he actually opened the record and realized I'd not driven that many miles. He realized he was wrong and the service was neither needed nor recommended. So much for the upsell on that service visit.

Made an appointment online to have the emissions mod applied to my E250 and indicated that I would wait at the dealership. Sam called me soon afterward to let me know that the work required would take several hours and that he would line me up a loaner. Arrived at the appointed date and time. Was impressed with the COVID-19 protocols that were in place. Sam was available in a few minutes and got me checked in. In addition to the emissions mod, I asked that the map data in the COMAND system be updated. He brought around the loaner, an A220 4Matic and I was on my way. The A was a fun ride, much more so than the A class vehicles I had driven in Europe. Sam called later that day that my car was ready for pickup. Told him I’d be there mid morning the following day. Pickup only took about 10 minutes. My E was sparking clean and sanitized. Happy to report that the emissions mod did not detract from overall performance. And the map data had updated. Great job by all involved. Thanks much.

Bought a certified pre owned. Multiple issues with it from a cracked wheel, kick plate feel off the first time I opened the door on way home from buying it. They over charged me on my paperwork and took several times to get them to acknowledge they over charged me. Console was melted in a spot and another part was jagged and fraying. Paint was touched up horribly. Took months to get things resolved and a local mercedes dealer near me ended up picking up their slack and making most everything right and then Mercedes Benz Hunt Valley reached out after bad review to fix the paint. They sent a driver 4.5 hrs to get my car after 3 times of me scheduling to be home to give them the car. They never let me know they weren't coming. They bring my bar back over a week later 2 different colors and whoever was USING my car while they had it to paint put a 30gal garbage bag filled with old food! I reached out to ask why there would be garbage in my Trunk and NOBODY WILL EVEN RESPOND! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!

I had a horrible experience buying a "certified" pre owned Mercedes that I have bought from another dealership a couple times and NEVER had an issue. this dealership sold me a car with a cracked wheel, melted consol, kick plate fell out of car the first time I stopped with it on the way home from buying. They over charged me on paperwork and then tried to rectify the transaction and sent a driver to get my car to fix the horrible touch up work they did. they told me 3 separate times they were coming and never showed! then sent my car with a driver after I told them I had appointments and he was just driving in my car. I canceled my appointments to be home since they gave me no notice! got my car at 830pm so couldn't see the paint. in the morning discovered my car is now red and burgundy in spots and someone put a 30 gal garbage bag with old food in my trunk! THIS DEALERSHIP IS A JOKE!!!!!

This is the worse experience I’ve ever had, I’ve received better service from tow truck drivers. This place has trash spilling over from the trash cans and the experience displays the same.... The service manager seems to be biast in interactions with customers, which comes across as lack of control and lack of organization but if you’re looking to have your car serviced, I’d highly recommend driving the extra distance to the Owings Mills Benz. I can go on for days about the dysfunction found in the facility. I spoke with TWO managers there about my experience and one is Eric who clearly doesn’t have the ability to calculate a resolution on his own or is he RACIST???? There’s a number of African American clients that have post the same review about him. I wouldn’t recommend even my worst enemy participating in any interaction with this dealership. Mercedes-Benz if your luxury name is worth saving, you may want to research those that are selling your products like this whole in the wall! I purchased a car at Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley on 9/4/2020 which was 6 months ago. I was promised a 2nd key with the purchase of the vehicle. It was written into my contract on the 17th page of the 19-page document (the WE OWE page). Although I have called countless times over the last 6 months and have even driven up there to speak with my salesperson and the manager, Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley has done everything in their power up to this date to keep me from getting this 2nd key or paying me the amount of the 2nd key. Three weeks ago, on Feb 16th, Jim the manager of Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley told me via text that he would send me a check in place of a key, but refused to tell me the amount. I haven't received it and decided that enough is enough! I have put in a complaint to the BBB. Before I pressed send, I called to speak to John Davenport who also signed my contract but was told he no longer works there and actually got Jim on the phone. Jim asked me to withdraw the BBB complaint in order for him to send me a check. LOL, that's not how it works, but thanks for that laugh! I'm hoping now that a regulatory body is involved, I will get what is contractually owed to me. Jim seemed way more upset that I contacted the BBB than that one of his customers has not been treated well by him, his staff, and his third-party vendor(s). I never asked for any more than what I was owed and I have waited long enough. This was my first time dealing with a luxury car dealership...Far from luxurious customer service.

This dealership is very unprofessional. My brakes and rotors were repaired. When my car was returned, there was a flat tire. I returned 3 days in a row, there was no responsibility taken, no compensation, just excuses. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. My service rep Brady, admitted that there could’ve been damage done while my car was on the lift. The manager Eric, still refused to take responsibility. This was a total nightmare.

My experience was unnecessarily long. We say a car that we wanted on the web site, and scheduled an appointment for 10:00 a.m. to see the car. Upon arrival, I was showed several cars that I was not that impressed a couple of other cars for the first 5 hours with test drives, look, mileage. After 5 hours, I asked about the care we say on the website, and we were told that is was sold by two people. It wasn't until I pressed and complained to a 3rd person that they found the car which had been used as a loner. The car that I originally came to see was returned within 30 minutes. Then on to the financial after another 2 hours first I was offered a price that was acceptable to me, but then it was refigured to a higher price. After being there for about 10 hours and very exhausted. I agreed to the price. That's my fault, I should have negotiated better, but I think it was shady and not fair. The staff was really nice though.

I am a first time Mercedes owner and my buying experience was relatively pleasant. My salesperson Andrew was very courteous and helpful and put me in a car that I wanted. I was already pre-approved by another financial institution when I went car shopping, however, after talking to Rene in finance he was able to get me approved through Mercedes Benz Financial at a much lower rate, which allowed me to add additional warranties at a price that I could afford. I have had my car for two weeks and I am loving it so far. I have not experienced the service center yet, but I have an upcoming appointment for an issue with the display screen, so hopefully I will be able to come back and write a favorable review.

I’ve been taking my S550 coupe to Mercedes of Hunt Valley for the past 3 years. Until now , I have had fairly good service. Well a few weeks ago, my “service engine light and oil light “ came on almost simultaneously. I took my car in the very next morning explaining that the indicator lights came on. John Hawkins, my service consultant, took my car back in a reasonable amount of time to be assessed by the service technicians. After about 30 minutes John came out to tell me that The lights were not on when the technicians assessed the car and that they did not find anything wrong with my car. I asked him if he was sure because both lights certainly came on and stayed on for over an hour during my travel until I reached my destination and the car was running very rough. I Verbalized that it felt as though an engine coil needed to be replaced as my car sounded and ran rough in the same manner the last time I was in for service to replace an engine coil . You see, this was not my first time at the rodeo for a similar assessment. John went on to say that the technician said not only could they not find anything wrong with my car but that they could not find any proof that the indicator lights had been signaled since the last time I brought my car in for service which was about two weeks prior. I will say that this was very concerning as I saw both of the lights on in addition to the car running rough. So, needless to say I left very dissatisfied and confused about why Mercedes’ certified service technicians could not tell me why the indicator lights came on and why their diagnostic equipment could not diagnose a problem or even tell that the lights did in fact signal a problem! Fast forward three days later. I AGAIN returned because my car displayed the SAME symptoms including the service indicator lights displaying ..... this time the problem was fixed (engine coil... just as I had thought). Before I left, I made an appt for my B service for later that week. I came back for the service at which time I was told that there was a crack in or near the oil crank (I can’t remember exactly the issue but there was a crack causing a unit oil leak... that explains why the oil light came on days earlier!). So, I returned the same day after work paid the bill , dropped off the loaner vehicle and left with my car. Now here comes more of my frustration and disappointment. The VERY next day my car’s service engine light came on again with the very same symptoms , running rough. I took my car back that morning telling John how disappointed I was in the service or the lack thereof, from Mercedes of Hunt Valley and that I will not pick up my car again until they thoroughly fixed it ! John listened to my feelings of frustration and disappointment and assured me that he would take care of the situation. My car remained there over the weekend . When I finally picked up my car again, John apologized for everything and then proceeded to tell me that I only had to pay for the price of the engine coil replaced but not for the service.. ( which was around $300). Although this was appreciated, this could never make up for the trust I once had in Mercedes of Hunt Valley’s service department. Had it not been for the gracious way John Hawkins assisted me, I would not return. When a consumer invests in a high end Vehicle, especially a Mercedes, excellent service is expected and should be received. To add insult to injury 40 cents was charged to my credit card for gas! I did refuel the prior to returning but I guess I was 40 cents short. I can’t say that these unfortunate events will cause me not to return to Mercedes of Hunt Valley or even recommend them to friends and family to purchase a vehicle, but I have somewhat lost faith in the service department. It is very different than it was three years ago.

After having my 2016 GL 450 serviced four times for the same issue, zero willingness to take Accountability, and admission of a defect, I would not recommend Mercedes-Benz of Hunt Valley. This is my families fourth Mercedes-Benz and I have never been met with such unprofessional customer service. When asked for the contact information of the Regional Director, I was told by Eric Nicholson that I could not have their information. I asked him to clarify and he said "I've been very clear" and he reiterated that he was my only source of information and service. Due to this experience I would never recommend this service center. Luckily I was offered a more professional experience at a different service center and I will take the necessary steps to escalate this concern.

I leased a 2019 E450 from this dealership and it has never been an easy time dealing with them. On 8-15-20 I had their road side service pick my car up because the top would not go up. They took it to Hunt Valley (repair), and on Monday they called me to tell me the convertible top had been repaired, and it had been due to a rear window malfunction. I had mentioned this rear window malfunction twice before this incident, when I had taken the car in for service. John, from their service department, then told me my car had been left out in the rain ALL weekend, due to them not being able to start it. I went and they showed me the car and I told them I did not want it back, they understood. This is a lease agreement. I tried to lease an SL 550 but they could not roll the old lease into a new lease due to insurance not finding an outcome yet for the car damage. I have talked to Mr. White, (Mercedes of Hunt Valley, manager) and Mr. Nicholson (Mercedes of Hunt Valley auto repair service manager), and it seems costumer service is not a priority at this location. They told me to have my insurance look into it so I did so with reluctance. They would not honor a claim due to the gross negligence in this matter from the leasing company and service department. Today, 09/28/20200, it is in the same posture, when I met with Mr. Nicholson last week he was obtuse and seemingly had no concern for my loss, and I do not believe he was honest to my insurance co. I have dealt with many places and situations in my 61 years, and this one will never get another dime from me. So I am paying for a car I cannot drive and cannot get closure for this horrific incident.

Meh. It?s hard to rate as it?s COVID time but nothing special. I had to drive a long way to get to the dealership, no one was particularly that friendly, no amenities like I would expect from a Mercedes dealership. They did fix unknown recalls. I did pay an obscene amount for a 50,000 miles service. My appointment was at 7:30 am. I wasn?t called until 3:30 to ask about other things they wanted to fix. At 5:30 I was called and told to pick it up the next morning because they weren?t done. Luckily since most of us are working from home, that was an option.

Had a minor recall of my CLA 250. When I called to schedule it was clearly explained to me what was involved and how long it would take. Was greeted by Regina immediately when I arrived. And Michael Vince who is my service adviser took care of me in a few minutes. Michael kept me informed about when my car would ready. And everything was completed on time as promised. He even had my tire pressure checked since I am not due for service for a couple of months.

It started off good but ended up worst when i first went to the dealership i was intented to fix a tire leak on the drivers side back rear everything seem good from the beginning until after they had supposedly fix the tire ... i notice the tire was still leaking so i took it back not only they replaced the wrong tire that didnt have anything wrong with it they suggested that i pay additional to get the correct tire fixes when I originally came to the dealership to fix my original tire that had issues they told me that i gave them the wrong information and suggested that i pay a extra 230 dollars to fix the right tire sense its they word against mine i wasnt able to get the original tire i came for fixed and scammed me out of 270 dollars And my tire is still leaking air i do NOT Recommend that you come to this dealership if thats how they take care of there customers out of scamming them out there money i will never go there ever again ... and i will get my money back

I just had a "B" service performed on my '18 E63 . The service representative was polite, professional and well informed. I was quoted a very fair price for all work and given a brand new loaner vehicle for my personal transportation. In addition to the required maintenance associated with the B service, the vehicle also had 2 bulletins and one recall that I was unaware of. All work was completed in a timely manor and my car was ready for pickup at the agreed time. I am completely satisfied.

After receiving 3 automated reminders that I had a service appointment on Dec 23, I arrived to be told that my car was not yet ready to be serviced. Do I asked sbout my wipers that had been violently slipping across my windshield after being turned on twice since I bought the car 4 months ago. My adviser said that wipers are replaced once a year and that my wiper mechanism was showing ?yellow?, which indicated some wear. I was incredulous! On s new car?! How could that be? I purchased a gently used Nissan Altima 2019 SR AWD from M-B of Hunt Valley. Jacob was a terrific salesman. I wasn’t going to purchase anything until my husband was able to drive it & my children were able to ride in the car. We had a time crunch due to my previous car being totaled, having limited time with a rental car, along with traveling out of town, so my family didn’t have the opportunity to come with me to check it out. They did however forget to put a return a cover over the fuse box on the passenger side. Also there are scratches in the paint on the left rocker panel and I only wear soft soled shoes EVER. I will address this early next week and expect things to be rectified.

The whole management team from the top to bottom will not work with customers on pricing. They also have a $300 fee to buy there that is not a mandatory state fee. Also tried to throw in a $199 online fee and I didn’t even inquire online. Profit at this dealership supersedes customer service and customer relations. If I wasn’t tired on the car buying game I wouldn’t have purchased from this dealership. Paid a little more and now I know that I’d never buy from them again.

When I bought the car I also got the extended warranty, being told that it would cover everything but tired and oil changes pretty much. That wasn’t the case when I took it in 3 years ago for a driver side window issue which I was told would cost $700 to fix. Then I went in for my airbag recall, to be told there was a wiring malfunction....not an airbag issue...and that wire would cost $830 to be replaced. Then I was told that I needed new tires, and for $550 per tire they would be happy to help me. I decided to take my business to a local tire guy who did it for half that price. Then I got an email telling me how excited they would be to buy my car as a trade in. However, that quickly evaporated when I indicated that I wouldn’t be buying a new car as a replacement. The GM even emailed me asking for feedback which I provided with my name, email and phone number. Oddly, he never contacted me again. They care about one thing only: making their money. If you legitimately want this dealership to look out for you, I think you will be sorely disappointed at how they are opportunistic and thoroughly overpriced. My recommendation: don’t buy Mercedes. My backup: if you must have the Mercedes, don’t take it to this dealership to be serviced. They have made it easy for me to walk away from the brand and I would encourage the rest of you to do so.

It’s a shame that the standard dealer response is to publicly offer a call with their GM....AFTER I have already been blown off by the GM who has received voicemails and emails with my contact info....with zero response. Maybe instead of automating a Politically correct response on a public site, you could just follow through on the requests that come in when people aren’t watching? It is very very hard to make me angry, but this dealership has done it after 4 consecutive bad experiences and over $7k in repairs and maintenance in the last 24 months on something that had an extended warranty. The ONLY good thing about this dealership is Anastasia. The rest....a blight upon the brand and the reason I am NEVER buying a Mercedes again. Good. Riddance

I lost my key and had my Benz towed to the Hunt Valley location. At first I was told that the new key would be $450 two days later they said it would be $571. Secondly I decided to get the service done on my car because it was due, a whole two weeks later and $2100. the service was NOT done! I’m very patient and I called every couple of days and I felt that my car was just sitting there, until I had to get upset for them to get it done. I told them at 10 AM in the morning on my last call that I wanted my car back that day he said it to be ready by noon if that’s all that it really took what took so long. 3rd.....The service worker told me it was ready and all cleaned up so I went to pick it up and the car was completely dirty. AND HERE’S THE KICKER a WHOLE entire piece was missing from the front of my car!!!!! They did not tell me they waited for me to get home in my driveway to notice it!!! it was the area where it was towed, either one of two things it was never replaced or they lost it and don’t want to take responsibility for it and then they asked me if I have the piece!!! WHAT?!? I’m not a tow truck driver or mechanic why would I have this piece with me!! I called the Mercedes roadside assistance to come pick the car up and now Huntvalley is telling me they don’t know who the tow truck driver or the company was! There’s got to be a trail or some paperwork. I am so beside myself and I want a result and I want the piece put back in the front of my car ASAP😤UNBELIEVABLY

I had a good experience. I flew in from Charlotte and Jack picked me up and took me to the dealership where I completed the car buying process. I was told that the car was perfect but when I got there I found a little dent on the drivers door and some orange stain on the carpet behind the drivers seat. I know it was a used car but make the customer aware or fix the problem before I fly in to pick up the car. Where do I start? Marshall Sanders has to be one of the worst salesman I have ever come across in my life and thats saying something because I have come across many! He is more concerned with proving his point and being right then making the sale! We had emails back and forth where he defended his dealership having "no haggle" pricing. When I told him I had never heard of that he wanted to argue the point and try to get the last word in by continuing to email me. I told him we would agree to disagree and I was leaving it at that. Then his Sales manager Rachael Holderied emailed me the following morning and said that they would negotiate the deal and to please come up to the dealership. I told her that if they would negotiate I would make them one of the stops at several vehicles I wanted to see. Saturday I called the dealership and asked to speak to the finance manager because I had just paid off credit cards in full and wanted to question the rates for a loan and whether I needed to wait to purchase until the payoffs had reached the credit bureaus because I wanted a very low rate. Rachael answered the phone and said that there wouldnt be a problem and that she would handle it and get me a very low rate as long as I had receipts for the payoffs (which I do)..They then emailed an "appointment" which I never agreed to a time last monday afternoon. Upon arriving Sanders acted very nice in person and asked me to test drive the vehicle. I was mostly happy with it other then some paint chips and worn tires all the way around. we sat down and he asked if I was ready to purchase? I said no not at that price. He then tried to give me the "no haggle pricing" speech which I said I already spoke with your sales manager Rachael and was assured the price was not set in stone. I was presented with a contract that had the no haggle price of $18,852 plus a $300 "Processing Fee" Which I wasnt told about prior and also $40 of "other fees" which no one had an answer to!!! He then got another manager to come over and asked what they needed to do to complete the sale. I said that they needed to drop the price and the tires needed to be either replaced or the price adjusted because I would soon need to replace them myself. And I wasnt paying a processing fee that I didnt agree to or was told about...He said everyone charges that fee! He went away, got the General Manager Bob White who came over and asked me the same thing. I told him what my concerns were, he then went away, the previous manager came back and I told him that if he would sell me the vehicle for $18,000 instead of $18,852 I would take it then. He went back to his desk. the previous manager came back with the contract and a note saying he would cut me a check for $853 an obvious kickback to buy the vehicle keeping the original cost on it plus trying to charge me the processing fee, other fees, and more in state tax. I agreed to the price after driving over 2 hours and waiting at the desk. after more waiting, signing documents, and then having to get on the phone with my insurance agent my finance paperwork was taken over to them. I waited and waited waited and was told that they were "working on it" then finally came back saying that they could only talk to a few lenders because it was a holiday (memorial day) which I was also assured wouldnt be a problem. and that they were having trouble getting a great rate because my payoffs hadnt been adjusted by the credit bureaus! This waiting went on till nearly 7pm monday!! I asked the General Manager to find out what was taking so long and he started to go back and then started talking to another customer and went outside! I went to the door, then sat back down then went outside where he continued to ignore me and talk to the other people. I came back in and told the other manager I need to know something now or I am leaving. the finance guy came out and said he would work on first thing in the morning. so I drove back home again over 2 hours

Went in on Friday May 3rd. Went in for parts. The gentlemen helped me and sent me to the cashier, where as usual, there was no cashier. I chose not to wait too long and went to the front counter to ask for help. The gentleman there said he’d send her right over. Well, she still didn’t come and I didn’t feel like waiting. In my hand were my parts and my printed computer receipt. On that receipt has your name, phone number etc. I left everything on the counter and walked out. They kept my car for a week and it ran worse than when I brought it to them. They charged me almost $1500 and neglected to do basic things like change an air filter. $32.00. Which is why my engine light was on! They can't get a half of a star from me. Buy a car there, yes, but as far as service, I would not recommend any owner use them. Go to Owings Mills or Catonsville. Be warned!

My husband contacted the dealership inquiring about a specific vehicle. He was informed that it was ready and encouraged to have me come to test drive it. I drove the nearly hour and a half to the dealership, pre-financed papers in hand, only to be told the vehicle was being checked over prior to sale. At this point I was confused- why would it be posted on their website with a firm price if they had no idea as to the condition of the vehicle? Additionally, it was heavily hinted that others were interested in the vehicle and perhaps I should look at these other vehicles. After waiting for a manage (I did not ask for one- I had chalked it up to miscommunication), I was told the exact same thing. At this point, I felt as though MB of Hunt Valley had no respect for my time. I was correct. I gave my info and informed them that I preferred to be texted as I couldn't answer my phone during the work day. I was frustrated at the lack of organization and communication within the dealership, but decided to show grace despite the day wasted driving three hours when I had other things to do. This was a Tuesday. The car was supposed to be ready by Friday or Saturday. During that time, I received two phone calls and an email encouraging me to test drive the vehicle. Yet, when I checked, it wasn't ready. The next week, my husband contacted the dealership and was told that the vehicle was ready for a test drive. They encouraged him to schedule a test drive for 7pm that evening. He informed them that between work and doctors appointments, I could not make it that evening and the weekend would be better. So of course, I received an email confirmation of my appointment for 6pm that evening with an assurance that I would be contacted personally to confirm. I never was. A day or so later, I received another phone call. This one informed me that they were sorry, but the inspection found that the turbo was blown and the vehicle would be placed for auction. This brought me back to my earlier confusion...why price it and post it if the dealership doesn't even know the true condition of the vehicle? Later that day, I received an email telling me that the vehicle was ready and I was welcome to schedule a test drive. I sent a reply, sharing my frustration with communication gaffs and conflicting information. The response was an apology and claim that the vehicle was indeed going to be auctioned rather than sold. My husband recently checked the VIN number. The vehicle was sold- not auctioned. What I believe happened was the dealership got their stories confused because they did not connect me with my husband. He is deployed, so his communications were primarily through email. That is why one story through email and one through the phone. They were trying to keep multiple buyers on the hook. The result was more time wasted than is acceptable in my book. I was ready with financing and a down payment. Instead I was jerked around as they cast for better fish. I don't appreciate dishonesty.

I called the service dept on a Saturday and made an appointment to bring my car in on Monday evening. The staff was responsive to my needs and fit me into their schedule. I was provide a quote and explanation for all the work needed on my car in advance . The work completed when they said it would be and at a lower cost than the estimate. scheduled an appt for what we had been told was an issue that there was a recall on. when we dropped the car off, we were told they may have to order parts and the car was delayed for an extra day because of this. This was frustrating since thye had already known about the problem and knew the reason we were bringing the car in. I was very happy with the treatment of your service personnel. I especially want to commend your Service Advisor, Monique Wood. She was very responsive to my concerns. I explained I needed my tire replaced because I was on my way back to New York after the long weekend. Unfortunately, my particular tire was not in stock, but she assured me it would be ordered and installed by early afternoon the following day. As promised, I received her call today at about 11:00am to inform me my car was ready. Her genuine concern and care made what was a very stressful situation, unexpectedly pleasant.

I had some technical questions which were answered by the technician Tommy without having to research .He knew those SUV's inside and out! On December 30, 2017 I agreed to a deal to purchase a GLE 43 from Mercedes Benz of Hunt Valley ( Deal w/email confirmation attached). Bryan Stack, the salesman confirmed the deal by email, phone, and verbally in person. All of this was done multiple times. After arriving to pick up the car on January 1, 2018 the agreed upon day Mr. Stack even confirmed the deal again verbally, at his desk with the value of my trade of $45,000. After walking around the car we again went back to Mr. Stack's desk. At this time he said everything is a go, and he will bring back the final paperwork. About 20 min later he came and said the Land Rover Bethesda Dealership offered less on my trade, and that was the value they would use, instead of my agreed upon value. Land Rover is a different manufacturer with a different license and address. They illegally shared my private information. I never physically visited the Land Rover Bethesda Dealership and they did not see, inspect or drive the car. Mercedes and Land Rover did not protect my privacy, Breached the Contract.

When you go to the BMW dealer & they don’t take you seriously... You end up going where you wanted to go in the 1st place and the Sales Manager himself sees to it that there are no missteps - from start to finish. At one point my salesman Sam needed to jot down my cell# but didn’t have anything to write on: I handed him the business card from the BMW guy - told him I wouldn’t be needing. Once the appt was made, the service was very good. Making the appt was a bit odd...it was a recall notice that required a part...the service desk had to transfer me to parts who had to transfer me back to service. I don't know why service just didn't put me on hold to check on the part and then come back to set the appt. It felt a little like the left hand and right hand were not talking. However, once I was at the dealership, it was quick and seamless.

My auxiliary battery malfunction light came on and I called and made an appointment with Kelly who was extremely helpful and courtesy. She offered for me to bring the car right in and have it looked at or I could opt to make an appointment. I made an appointment and took my car to MB Hunt Valley two days later. Anastasia was my customer service rep and she was extremely professional and courtesy. She answered all my questions and even reached out to other folks to assist with my floor mat issue which was resolved immediately. Just recently bought a used Mercedes here and have had nothing but problems since! Manager Jim was solicitous until we closed the deal- then when problems started not even two weeks after buying the car, he seemed to avoid us and was unwilling to offer us any help with needed repairs. The service department can't be trusted either. They inspected the car and refused to fix the driver's side mirror saying it met the MINIMUM requirements for MD state inspection. The mirror's glass is darkening and at night it distorts images and makes it dangerous. I shudder to think what else barely passed inspection! I will not recommend this dealership to anyone and will call the Better Business Bureau as soon as I'm done with this post!

My vehicle was towed and the service department was closed. I was contacted promptly the next business day to explain the breakdown and I also asked them to check for another issue. I was informed later in the day of the breakdown cause and repairs needed. Once the repairs were done and the car was started they found the other problem I requested checked and that would be fixed, but I would not be able to get my car until the next day because of these repairs. The next day my vehicle was ready and they also washed my car before I picked it up. A tow hitch/ring from my car that was used was lost and they ordered a new one for me free of charge. I am very satisfied with there service for this visit and all others in the past.

I took my car into the service area 5 minutes before my scheduled time. The weather was cold and the internal bay was already full so I parked my car outside. I was not frustrated by that but was frustrated when I had to wait over 25 minutes before I was seen by a service representative. Either the dealer took too many reservations at the allotted time or the dealer did not choose to set aside some resources to deal with those who had made a reservation first. I did not require a shuttle or any other service so the representative said the keys were all they needed. I had a 20,000 mile service and dropped my car off at 8am. I had not heard from the dealer by noon so I called to find out that my car would be ready at 2pm. I would have expected an email or phone call to give me an estimate on when the car was available so I could plan pick up accordingly. A little frustrated with my experience this time.

when my husband and i first walked into the dealership at hunt valley, kyle dembo immediately greeted us and asked how he could help us. he was patient in listening to exactly what we were looking for, never at any moment did we feel pressured...he showed us exactly what matched our request. considerate, very knowledgeable regarding the mercedes, and customer service. what else can one say? how refreshing, what a positive experience it was and will continue to be im sure, when i need any servicing to be done. everyone in that dealership was helpful , kind.. and ready to find exactly the car we wanted. kyle exceeded all our expectations in a car "sales" person... restored my faith in customer service!! its still out there!! i love the mercedes e-class!!! a wonderful car.. and was a pleasure dealing with this dealership.

Stay away!!! I had a Mercedes R class and had a great deal of service handled by the dealership over the years we had it. We had good customer service from the service department the entire time. We had decided to sell the vehicle back to The Mercedes of Hunt Valley back in April, and were told we would receive a check in the mail. (Was not sent certified mail to assure delivery) Somehow, the check was either never sent, or never arrived. The Sales Manager was extremely difficult to contact, no one from the Finance office would able to be reached, and when I went to the dealership in person, twice, was given lip service with attitude. Eventually, was notified that there was an issue at the bank and that there would need to be an investigation, as they weren't sure I truly had received the funds or not. It has been 6 months since I sold them the vehicle and have not received my funds. We are not talking about a large amount of money, but is a pain to say the least. I will never deal this this group again. We loved our car, but will not deal with Mercedes of Hunt Valley ever!

I had an excellent experience at Mercedes of Hunt Valley. I considered other brands in this segment. The vehicle is only one aspect of a purchase, the personal interaction between the sales, finance and maintenance team is very important to me, and thus far this dealership provides excellent service.

My experience has been nothing but terrible. Almost a year ago, I had my E350 serviced and I told them that my breaks were making noise. After three attempts to fix the problem, the problem was never fixed. I had to take my car to West Chester to get fix. I decided to give Hunt Valley another try and the end state was the same. The initial problem with my keyless remote was never fixed when I was told that my vehicle was ready. After I paid over $700 and went to my car, I discovered that the issue wasn’t resolved. When I pointed that out, they had to keep my car for a few days until the part came in. This was very frustrating. At this point, I will not use Valley motors again.

I brought in my car because the "check brake wear" light came on. I expected to have my front brake pads changed but the rotors were also changed because they were "rusty". The staff at the dealer were very courteous and helpful.

Complete incompetence at this dealership. I visited the dealer for a flat tire (per sensors) and all they did was add air to my tire and sent me on my way. I later found a nail in the tire which was the cause of the sensor reading flat. It amazes me the lack of integrity some people have. When I reported the incident to the Service Manger Kevin he was less than sympathetic.

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of my customer service rep Rony Lopez. He kept me abreast on the status of my vehicle and informed me of the possibility that MB Service would not be able to complete the service until the next day. Rony was also able to provide some additional discounting on the cost of the service.

Went to Mercedes of Hunt Valley to purchase a new vehicle for my wife. Having purchased two vehicles from them in the past, I was not very confident this experience would be a positive one. Donald Levine made a great impression, taking the vehicle to my wife's office fur her to look at and made the sales process pleasant. I ended up with a defective car, but it is not the dealer's fault. They have been top notch in helping me work with MB USA to keep the thing on the road. In fact, they might have fixed it with all the parts they just put in - all under warranty. The dealer is awesome - from sales to service, and I appreciate it as this car makes my Land Rover look like a reliable dream, but we'll keep trying.

The salesman, Joon Park was very nice to work with; he was very knowledgeable about the cars we were considering to purchase, and helped us to decide on one; I would recommend him if you are looking to purchase from this Mercedes dealership. After test driving a Mercedes GL 450 at Mercedes of Hunt Valley in September 2015, I sent a fairly unique online configuration of a GL 450 to 4 different dealers within 30 miles of my house with the disclosure that I would order a custom-build from whichever dealer submitted the best possible purchase price bid. Not only did Mercedes of Hunt Valley tie with one other dealership for the best pricing, the process of ordering the vehicle, obtaining financing, and taking delivery was a pleasure. My service advisor Tina Hyatt is exceptional, she provides outstanding service, keeps the customer informed and is an advocate to ensure the client is happy. The service technicians could use some improvements relative to ensuring vehicles are returned to the customer in a manner that is in-line with MBZ of Hunt Valley standards, i.e. seat position, washing the vehicle.
